Just last week, I met someone who shared with me how she was harassed by demons for years. It was so bad that it affected her sleep and her work. She spent so much money seeking help from various temples, local and overseas but to no avail. Finally, she encountered her breakthrough when she was invited to a church and became a Christian. She was able to sleep peacefully and lead a normal life without demonic harassment ever since. This was such an encouraging testimony, attesting to the truth of our God’s power over demonic forces.
Indeed, mankind’s greatest foe is the devil and he is real and he is out to steal and kill and destroy. Satan and his league of demons are determined to rob us of our peace, our sleep, our sanity, and most of all, rob us of the truth. Thankfully, Jesus is our Good Shepherd who has full intention of granting us abundant life. With the life that Jesus offers when we trust in Him as Lord and Saviour, comes the Holy Spirit who indwells us and who is far greater than any demons that seek our destruction. No one is safe from the devil who “walketh about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8) except those whose temples the Holy Spirit have taken residence in:
1 Corinthians 6:19a
“Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God?”

事实上，人类最大的敌人是魔鬼，它是真实存在的，它要偷窃、杀戮和毁灭。 撒旦和他的爪牙决心要夺走我们的平安、睡眠、理智，最重要的是，夺走我们的真理。 值得庆幸的是，耶稣是我们的好牧人，他全心全意地赐予我们丰盛的生命。 当我们相信耶稣是主和救主时，因着耶稣所赐的生命，圣灵就会住在我们里面，并且比任何寻求毁灭我们的邪灵都强大得多。 没有人能免受魔鬼的伤害，魔鬼“如同吼叫的狮子遍地游行，遍地游行，寻找可吞吃的人”（彼得前书 5:8），只有那些圣殿已被圣灵居住的人（哥林多前书 6:19a）才得以幸免。
